Houman Ghanbari, DMD
General Dentist
In 1979, my journey into dentistry commenced, unfolding as I entered dental school in 1997. The culmination of my rigorous education proudly resulted in the attainment of a DDS degree in 2003. The ensuing five years saw me wholeheartedly dedicated to practicing as a general dentist, amassing invaluable expertise through diligence and commitment. Driven by an unwavering passion for the nuances of dental care, I pursued advanced education via an enriching residency in endodontics, culminating in board certification in 2011. My trajectory then shifted towards the realm of education, where I found purpose in sharing knowledge. I undertook roles as an educator in endodontics and served as a program director while concurrently managing my own specialized clinic and office until my relocation to the United States in 2019. The year 2021 marked a pivotal chapter as I embraced a new academic pursuit, securing admission to Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s advanced standing program. This endeavor culminated in the conferral of a DMD degree with high honors in 2023. With an extensive background in general dentistry, specifically rooted in the intricacies of root canals and associated dental surgeries, I perceive dentistry as an avenue for artistic expression.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I channel my innate creativity into diverse artistic forms, spanning from visual art to poetry and crafting short stories. Nature’s serene embrace often calls to me, and amidst its grandeur, particularly during hiking adventures, I find solace and boundless inspiration.
